About The Opportunity: Polywelder / Operators required for FIFO 2:1 roster. You will be welding HDPE, stringing pipe, loading welding machines, flushing and hydrotesting and digging trenches. To be successful in this role you will need: A minimum of 2 years post qualified experience working as Polywelder in all aspects of butt and electro fusion welding experience in operator roles in relevant mine/construction sites. A minimum of 2 years' experience using a variety of Polywelding equipment and procedures specifically (McElroy -T618, T500, T900 and Dixon welder). A minimum of 1 years' experience operating on site The ability to complete hydrotesting operations of HDPE. Self-efficient in welding operations with the ability to coordinate a small poly crew. Self-efficient in general earth works and can coordinate the team involved in the task at hand. Needs to be competent in interpretating HDPE and Civil construction drawings. BHP, RIO and FMG inducted (desirable) Essential tickets: A valid certificate in Polywelding (Butt Weld & Electrofusion or Extrusion welding) from an accredited institution within 2 years of conclusion date.
